What is Narumy?

Narumy is EV charger monitoring and operations automation for companies that run charging networks. It watches every charger, works out what is wrong when one stops, fixes what your settings allow, asks a person for a yes where you want one, proposes a technician for hardware problems, and keeps proof of every fix.

Does Narumy replace our charging platform?

No. Narumy works on top of the charge point management system you already use. You connect it with one read-only key; there is nothing to install and nothing is replaced.

Can Narumy restart chargers automatically?

Yes, if you allow it. In one settings sheet you decide, for each type of action, whether Narumy may act on its own or needs a yes, and who may give it. Anything to do with electrical safety is never restarted remotely. Every action is sent once and checked afterwards.

What happens when a charger has a hardware problem?

A broken part cannot be fixed from a distance. Narumy proposes a technician visit and says what is wrong and what to bring. The visit is sent once a person on your team approves it.

What does the 99.99% cover?

99.99% is our target for availability across your whole network, not a measured result or a guarantee per charger. It covers the faults Narumy can fix from a distance on its own. Time waiting for someone to approve a fix, time until a technician is on site, and power cuts from the grid are not counted; Narumy shows that time separately.

Where is our data stored?

Every customer gets their own dedicated server in the EU. Narumy reads your data and changes nothing your settings do not allow.

How do we get started?

Connect Narumy with one read-only key, which takes about an hour. For two weeks Narumy only watches while your team works as usual. On day 15 you get a report with your real numbers: how often chargers were down, how fast faults were noticed, and how many could have been fixed from a desk.

What happens when a charger is switched off on purpose?

Nothing. Narumy recognises a charger that an operator switched off on purpose, or a problem caused by a driver's card or car, and raises no alarm and sends no one out.
